Hi/lo
or Lo only games:
When
playing a high/lo game, the pot is split between the
best 5 card hand and the worst. The best hand rankings
are listed above and below are examples of the lo-hand
rankings.
Keep
in mind, for your lo-hand, flushes and straights are
not counted. The hand is ranked by the value of your
highest and lowest card.
An
Ace is always considered the lowest card.
ex: a hand 8, 7, 6, 3, Ace would be considered a 8-7
low hand, the Ace counts as one.
In
most games the best lo-hand is 5, 4, 3, 2, A (a wheel)
this is a 5-4 hand.
The
second best hand is a 6, 4, 3, 2, A this is a 6-4
hand.
If
everyone has a pair the lowest pair will win.
In
the event that two players hold the same low pair, the
next lowest card will determine the winner.
